I've sure you guys have already seen the news on OnlyFans recently. The company decided that it was time to ban sexual content from the app because they were worried about payment providers banning them. But they seem to have now backtracked on that. Thoughts?

Do you think OnlyFans could have survived without the sexual content side of the app?

Afraid I've never heard of it before. whats it about?
Wait, you've never heard of OnlyFans? No idea what the original idea for the app was but people tend to use it to sell sexual pictures and videos. Users can subscribe to certain people to see their content. It's a pretty good money maker for them.

So a porn site then? Yeah I can see pay places black listing it.

I recently read now they’ve decided to back flip on their decision because of the back lash it caused, obviously that was gonna happen though.

I thought OnlyFans was pretty much synonymous with amateur sexual content.. ? Not that I've ever used the service.

No, I can't imagine they'd have survived had they not have backtracked.

I 100% don’t think they would’ve it’s basically a modern sexual Facebook like site, I’ve seen people use it but I’ve never used it myself because it’s a sin in my religion.

Like everyone else here, I didn't even know that it had non-sexual content.

Yeah, they flipped on that pretty quickly. It was pretty clear that it was never going to work out long term if they stuck with their decision. Wouldn't have made any financial sense

I don't know why they even thought removing sexual content would work for them, They've got that reputation and people go to them for that.

100%. Instead of trying to be stupid and removing it, they should have tried to work on making sure third-party companies didn't have any issues. They could have easily resolved any potential issues with payment providers.

And besides if they really wanted to stop porn on their services then they should of did it from the start, it’s like trying to discipline a teenager when you should of done it when they was 5 it just doesn’t work.
