Two Canadian teens had to call 911 for help after they apparently took drugs and then got desperately lost in a park during the daytime.

The 19-year-olds, whose names were not released by police, were eventually tracked down in a 50-acre undeveloped park called Lackie’s Bush in Barrie, Ontario, according to the National Post.

From the Post:

When a police dispatcher asked one of the young men if there were any landmarks around, he responded that he saw trees. So the dispatcher tried asking him to shout “Help” to alert the searchers, according to Acting Sgt. Adam Morris. Instead, the man said “Yeah,” in a quiet voice.
“Our dispatcher was able to determine they were on something,” Morris said.
Despite this limited aid from the lost, the police, helped by a K-9 unit, were able to find the young men -- who were "silently staring off into the sky,” Barrie Police Sgt. Daniel Mafturack said, according to the Post.

The teens were less than grateful when they were found, the Global News reports.

“I don’t think they really knew” they were being rescued, Mafturack told the News. “They’ll know today when they start piecing it together I imagine once they sober up.”

The teens weren't charged with anything but were taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

Thoughts?

Not charged and put in jail and tax payers money actually wasted trying to find these losers. Ya when this is the outcome lets make pot legal for more losers to cost us tax payers money.

I hope they learned their lesson: Don't take drugs outside. Stay indoors.
