I spent a week setting things up here + got some friends to help get some conversations going.
In my opinion, its best to have at least 10 topics (with some replies) in every forum on the board before releasing it to the public. Also have a plan in what sort of features you want on the board (cash mod, reputation, etc) and install them first so your original members can benefit from them from the beginning.
