Breaking News- Osama Bin Laden is dead. Check out my article:

This is mind blowing news that I am just about to unveil to you! For 10 long years, we have searched for a man that has put fear into the facees of Americans and citizens all over the world. But now, no more, because Osama Bin Laden has been confirmed dead. This news just came in meer moments ago.

Just about a hour ago, sources confirmed that President Obama was going to break in all news sources with breaking news related to National Security. Nothing more was given. Fortunately, do to viewing CNN, I had little hints about what this was all about. Then, while on twitter, I came across one tweet saying that Osama was dead. I had no idea if this was confirmed, but I decided to go with it, and spread it all over the web. Not long after that, the people on CNN gave more hints to convince me that this was in fact related to Laden.

Dont f**k with America.

Glad he is dead. I wonder what they are going to do with the body?

I'd hope return it to family, for a proper burial.

But, with the USA, it's very up in the air.

US celebrations labelled 'disgusting'

THE director of the Forum on Australia's Islamic Relations (FAIR) has labelled US celebrations over the death Osama Bin Laden disgusting and called on people to be more reserved.

Kuranda Seyit said the images of Americans rejoicing in the streets of Washington and New York after US President Barack Obama announced bin Laden had been killed in Pakistan were not appropriate.

I'm just totally disgusted about it, he said.

(The celebrations) are just like the so-called reports by American television of Muslims celebrating after September 11, this is just as bad.

We need to show a little bit more respect towards humanity, even if they're the bad guys.

Mr Seyit said the al-Qaeda leader had galvanised the Muslim community in the past.

The way he is viewed now, I would say 50 in terms of pro and 50 in terms of against.

A lot of people see him as a negative representative of the Muslim community.

But then, other people see him as someone who is at least having a go at some of those colonial powers interfering in Muslim affairs.

However, Mr Seyit did point to the advent of social networking as a great way of breaking down radicalism and promoting democracy, as shown in the recent revolution in Tunisia.

Connecting other people who have similar grievances through that medium has meant that people can talk about that and it helps people to be less radical, he said.

Nevertheless, Mr Seyit said he was sceptical of the news bin Laden was dead and was waiting for photographs of the body to be released.

THANK YOU! But, I guess Western double standards are okay.

It's all started again, the things being said about Muslims are disgusting and offensive - especially on talk back. Yet, people get away with it.

Who cares if some people think being glad someone is dead is disgusting. After what he has done, I can understand why people are reacting the way they are.

Oh well. It is what it is. My animalistic side is glad justice was served.

Good riddance. He should've been killed a long time ago, after what he and his comrades did that scarred the US for life

The US military should receive medals for this, personally.

Ehh I would've preferred it if he had a fair trial too. It's also a bit shady how the body has already been disposed of...

It's hard to give someone a fair trail when they're dead. But, if you asked me, I'd say 3000 murder charges would probably be the death penalty.

Had osama surrendered, he would have his fair trial. But he didn't,

There was a gun fight & he was shot. Standard police work.

While I'm happy he's dead, I am fearful of retaliation now. Especially after reading this article:

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Pakistan (Reuters) – The Pakistani Taliban threatened attacks against government leaders, including President Asif Ali Zardari, the Pakistan army and the United States on Monday, after the killing of Osama bin Laden in the country.

Now Pakistani rulers, President Zardari and the army will be our first targets. America will be our second target, Ehsanullah Ehsan, a spokesman for Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), or Taliban Movement of Pakistan, told Reuters by telephone from an undisclosed location.

To Sayf Udeen: Osama Bin Laden murdered 3000 innocent people on September 11. Mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, uncles, aunts, grandmothers, grandfathers, and many more lost their lives due to this mastermind terrorist. If you are not rejoicing that a man responsible for the 9/11 attacks is dead, then I honestly don't believe you'll come close to feeling the effects of the attack. You are an animal if you don't feel sick that a man who has killed thousands has been killed. He wasn't even bombed, they got into a firefight, so it wasn't as if Bin Laden wasn't trying to fight off the US troops. He was trying to murder even more troops. When he was killed in doing so, America was given light.

Maybe you need to go to war. Maybe you need to go to ground zero. Maybe you need to watch a video.

You are an animal for not rejoicing an extremely evil man who had no more than evil intentions has been stopped.

And... I dare you to post on this topic again. You're a disgrace to the USA and you're a disgrace to yourself. Never post in this topic again, or you'll find out that I have nothing nice to say about you defending Osama Bin Laden. RIP 9/11 victims, along with Flight 93. Safy Udeen, you are the one who is heartless.

Had it been your mother, your father, your child, I highly doubt you would be defending Bin Laden.

...And where did I defend Osama?

I never defended him.

I believe he deserved the death sentence, post-trial (as any American poatriot should believe.)

Though, I'm not American. So convict me of eTreason all you want.

I suggest you get off your nationalist high horse and see my post for what it was.

I think the behaviour expressed by many surrounding today's news are as disgusting as the acts of Osama Bin Laden when he killed 3,000 innocents, and also the acts of George W. Bush when he went on to kill 1,000,000 innocents over a longer time span in the same manner.

Disrespect of human life, is always the same. It doesn't matter which side of the fence it's on.

You tell me to watch a video? I tell you to read the posts you're replying to before making yourself look clueless.

A bit shady? It's very shady!

Disposing of the body works in NO WAY in the USA's favour. They had so much more to gain with it than without it.

True enough. To clarify, I'm not really criticising what they did. I just think it's unfortunate. There were a lot of unanswered questions, conspiracy theories, etc. Suddenly finding and killing him after so many years and then disposing of the body is bound to raise a few more eyebrows...

A public trial, or at least keeping the body as evidence would've been a lot more beneficial for the US. (At least, assuming they don't have anything to hide.)

EDIT: Also +1 for Sayf's post. Well said.

WASHINGTON – A U.S. official says Osama bin Laden has been buried at sea.

After bin Laden was killed in a raid by U.S. forces in Pakistan, senior administration officials said the body would be handled according to Islamic practice and tradition. That practice calls for the body to be buried within 24 hours, the official said. Finding a country willing to accept the remains of the world's most wanted terrorist would have been difficult, the official said. So the U.S. decided to bury him at sea.

The official, who spoke Monday on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive national security matters, did not immediately say where that occurred.

Update: DNA testing done on the body, came back as 99.9% it was indeed Osama bin Laden.
