What are your thoughts on overweight people?

Is it their fault that they are in their current situation? Do they deserve sympathy?

Should accommodations in society be made for overweight people?

I think it's a bit wrong to generalize people as just overweight. Some have medical conditions that make them gain weight, some have physical conditions that limit movement, some have genetics that predispose them to weight issues, and yes, some do it to themselves. No matter what, though, it should not just be written off as someone being unhealthy just because. People should be encouraged to be as active as possible, 100% they should, but some people have limitations that need to be taken into account.

I dislike overweight people unless it is a medical condition they can't change.
Being fit is your choice, of course and if you chose to be damn fat person, then you have zero respect from me. How can you allow yourself to indulge food as if you are an animal and not a human being with ability to self-restrain
No depression should be an excuse or any other excuse of that matter. Hit the gym, make a new diet and live a healthy life.

As someone with a persistent major depressive disorder, that's a flat out lie. Depression takes over everything, and it's not just a case of "buck up and get over it," it's a legitimate disorder that takes time, medication and therapy to work through. If a side effect of depression is reaching for food as a release of serotonin, that's not a "choice" they're making.

It is not a lie, lol. You really think depression is a modern age sickness? There is a cure, get the heck out of house and do something. People were so much more active physically in the past and much more social they didn't have time to waste on self pity. Pharmacy is not the solution, there is a natural way of dealing with depression and I know for I have been in one. People will only find excuses because there is nobody to push them, help them rise again. If people let them sit and pity themselves, they will never get better. They will use medications to become zombies.

There are many many things that release serotonin, not only food.

Yes. I know it is for a fact.

That's not a cure for clinical depression no matter how much you want to think it is.

Depression is far from self-pity.

You clearly haven't or you would know that clinical depression isn't something you just get over because you go outside.

Again, spoken like someone who has no clue what they're talking about.

Of course there are, food is a fast release of serotonin for someone in a desperate spot.
