An exhibition of artworks daubed by a painting horse has opened at a gallery in Barcelona.
Napoleon, a four-year-old black stallion developed a talent for painting after teaming up with Catalan artist Sergio Caballero, a friend of the horse's owner.
He is a pure-bred Dutch Friesian, a breed of draught horse more commonly famed in the equestrian world for their skill at dressage.
But this creative equine uses his mouth to grip a brush and by tossing his head makes bold brushstrokes of acrylic colour across canvases mounted on an easel in his stable.
Three private collectors have already snapped up his paintings, which sell for between 3,300 and 6,000 euros including one collector based in London.
The canvasses are prepared by Mr Caballero ââ¬â whose name, by strange coincidence means Knight - with photographic images of strange scenes such as a monkey dressed in clothes.
