I found this on MSN. And it seemed pretty helpful for emergencies.

Have you ever used something to fix something else? Or found another use for something in a pinch?

I've substituted paper towels for coffee filters in a pinch. And once I made the kids 'spaghetti and cheese' instead of macaroni and cheese. I've also wired up mufflers before using a wire coat hanger. But that's about it, as far as I can remember.....
