Do you ever get a payment declined when using a credit or debit card?

Been happening more often to me lately. Fraud detectors seem to be more sensitive. I have a Bank of America card and it declines half the purchases I try to make even though it is a legit card with funds available (heard the same from other BofA users too). I have a different visa that I just tried to use on Amazon to buy some shoes and I got an email and text asking me to approve the purchase before they process it. I suppose its good they are on the lookout for us, but its also annoying at the same time.

I agree.
Just a personal thing, I hate BoA. I ditched them so long ago that I don't remember exactly what my grudge against them was.

When it come to me ordering things on the Internet, sometimes my card gets declined and locked up because the bank thinks it's been stolen lol

I can't remember the last time this happened, but I'm pretty sure when it did, I was probably traveling and the card company was taking precautions for out of state purchases I had been making.

Not when I'm paying for stuff but I have Chase and Chime. When I tried to transfer money to Chime from Chase, it was declined because of fraud protection even though I proved it was me.

The last time that happened to me some outfit in Florida tried to charge some stuff to my account, which was declined, but the bank froze my account without telling me. When they unlocked it, Florida immediately tried to run their charges through again, so it got locked again.

Somebody at my bank had to call whoever it was in Florida and tell them they had the wrong account number.
