I don't at present, but I have had a long, long time ago. It didn't last long because they stopped responding

Pen pals? I had a pencil pal once, but no pen pals.

I had several as a teen & in my 20's. Lost contact with all of them now though. I admire those who keep in contact with a long-distance friend. I loved having them & wonder if we would've lasted long enough to gravitate towards emails if we could have kept in contact still.

I had a few pen pals.

There was this one guy I slowly became friends with that I met on a forum. We talked all of the time. He loved race cars. He loved Cher. Loved anime & he lived in Utah. He was probably one of the nicest guys I ever met.

I had a lot from October 1992 to 2003 via snail mail and we talked about a lot of things too many to mention.

I did have an actual pen pal while I was in school, before the internet. Our class wrote letters to a class in New York. It was fun.

I have never had a traditional pen pal, although I did join the Slowly app last year which is designed to be a virtual version of pen pals. I have been pretty slack with my response time this semester as uni has kept me quite busy. But I am still really loving a lot of the people I have been talking to there.
