There it is, right in the middle. Some ‘pervy old b******’ is advertising for someone to tidy his house completely butt-naked.
And what’s even more alarming is the number of applicants – 11 every week!
The 69-year-old, only known as John, placed the ad in a Bristol newsagents.
His demands are simple: wash the dishes, a bit of dusting and general tidying – all in the buff.
The former land surveyor, whose closest pals are unaware of his adventurous housekeeping, said there was ‘nothing sexual’ about the scenario.
John, who divorced his wife 24 years ago, said: ‘It’s a bit like a teenage lad buying a condom for the first time.
‘But I’m not doing anything illegal. I’m not harming anyone. I’m a voyeur, in the truest sense of the word.
‘If I was a pervert, I would use an escort agency. If I wanted sex, I would go to a red light district.’
John, who lives with his rescue cat, Noodles, said he was first inspired to look into hiring a naked cleaner after a conversation with an old friend in London.
He continued: ‘We are very open-minded about life. At first I thought “pervy old b******”. But as I drove home, I had a think about it and the idea grew on me.’
