The latest scientific evidence shows that the sons of pregnant women who consume chicken are more likely to have smaller penises because of a chemical found in the birds’ flesh. And it’s not just boys who are at risk from chicken. Babies, including girls, of mothers who have high cholesterol counts—and chicken is loaded with cholesterol—can be born with blocked arteries.

“Pregnant women may want to think twice before chomping on those chicken wings, or their sons could come up short,” says PETA Associate Director of Campaigns Lindsay Rajt. “Chickens may be little animals, but they suffer in a big way before their wings are hacked off for a stupid contest.”

I can't even

Cock a doodle do!
My dame has lost her shoe,
My master's lost his fiddlestick,
And knows not what to do.
PETA lies and shame on you,
Cock a doodle do!

PETA
Person Eating Tasty Animals

BIG failure by the group full of heartless vegans. Eat a lot of protein, folks!

Or you could cite a case where PETA was found to have misrepresented their statements.

Such as

Ad

A poster for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), featured an image of a toddler smoking a cigar. Text stated "You Wouldn't Let Your Child Smoke. Like smoking, eating meat increases the risk of heart disease and cancer. Go vegan! PeTA".
Issue

Two complainants challenged whether the claim "eating meat increases the risk of heart disease and cancer" was misleading and could be substantiated.

...
Assessment

Upheld ...

We considered that because the ad likened the risks associated with eating any kind of meat to the risks of smoking, consumers would understand from the ad that the connection between eating any kind of meat and the risk of heart disease and cancer had been proven beyond doubt, which was clearly not the case, and we therefore concluded that the ad was misleading.

The ad breached CAP Code (Edition 12) rules 3.1 (Misleading advertising) and 3.7 (Substantiation).
Action

The ad must not appear again in its current form. We told PETA not to imply that any consumption of meat would raise the risk of heart disease and cancer.

-or a case from the US-

False claims about this research were fabricated by quoting pieces of information out of context from a variety of unrelated sources. In addition, comments made by the researchers were at times so heavily edited that their meaning was changed.

Here is a clear example demonstrating how the false case against this research was built:
PETA sent it's supporters the following edited quote by one of the scientists claiming it to be proof that the research is being conducted to develop a cure:

f people want to extrapolate [to humans the conclusions that he reaches with regard to altering sheep's sexual orientations], that's up to them."

Here is the actual quote from the researcher (Stormshak) in context:

"I think it would be premature to make any kinds of extrapolations," Stormshak said. "The human is so much higher in the vertebrate scale of animals -- there are many other factors that could be involved."
Stormshak does believe the research could apply to animals closer to the sheep on the vertebrate scale, however. Aside from his goal to understand the animals better, Stormshak says the knowledge could help breeders choose rams in the future. "We've put in a renewal on this grant for another five years," Stormshak said. "If the grant is renewed it would be five more years of study on this subject." Stormshak is not unaware of the possible interpretation from his studies to humans.
"If people want to extrapolate, that's up to them," he said. "But we're doing this study strictly on the sheep." - Source: The Daily Barometer (Oregon State University newspaper) 11/8/02

-or you could read about how PETA kills animals in its own shelter in an approved non-disgusting non-hating media -

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is an organization that publicly claims to represent the best interest of animals -- indeed their "ethical treatment." Yet approximately 2,000 animals pass through PETA's front door every year and very few make it out alive. The vast majority -- 96 percent in 2011 -- exit the facility out the back door after they have been killed, when Pet Cremation Services of Tidewater stops by on their regular visits to pick up their remains. Between these visits, the bodies are stored in the giant walk-in freezer PETA installed for this very purpose. It is a freezer that cost $9,370 and, like the company which incinerates the bodies of PETA's victims, was paid for with the donations of animal lovers who could never have imagined that the money they donated to help animals would be used to end their lives instead. In fact, in the last 11 years, PETA has killed 29,426 dogs, cats, rabbits, and other domestic animals.
