So when your cat has kittens or your dog has puppies, how do you get rid of them all? I get people all the time saying Do you want a kitten or Do you want a puppy to me.

They should just go put an ad on craigs list.

I don't have any pets so this doesn't affect me, though I really wouldn't want a pet in my family to have a baby.

I don't have pets of my own. When my moms dogs have pups she just gives them away.

When we get a pet, straight away we get it desexed, one pet is enough without puppies

desexed?

We called it getting spayed or nutered around here...

Or simply getting fixed

I dont know why they calling getting fixed as you arent fixing anything, its sort of breaking something so it wont work anymore.

We paper train them, get them fixed if the new owners opt for that, and we sell them for what they're worth.

My house is a bit too nice to have a cat and dog farm. And where I live, there's a limit to the amount of pets you can have before you're considered an animal cruelest. If we lived in the country, there's a different aspect.

But for the most part, we sell them.

Or if nobody buys them, they go to the animal shelter.

We're not breeders, no.

We've only had one litter, and they were Bull-terriers.

And this is not a business.

Well, its a chance they are taking. Its quite true, not being fixed means they are prone to more problems, however the longer you wait the harder it is on the dog, because the organs have grown much bigger than most dogs that get fixed at a younger age

Yeah thats right. I recently talked my mother into getting her dog fixed at 7 years of age. She is a chou-husky mix, and was in terrible pain due to her age after the procedure, but now shes healthy, calm, and Im sure happier to have potential years added to her life
