Photography - Are you into?

I am aiming to dive into photography - currently I saving up for Canon Rebel SL1. The type of pictures that I want to learn how to take professionally are landscape shots and portraits.

Anyone else here into photography? Have any examples of your work? Reply here I would love to see them. =)

Its a fun hobby, I used to have a really good camera but it broke and now I am just limited to my 5 mega pixel phone camera. *sigh*

I take mostly nature photos and racing events.

I'm hopefully going to be getting 1 day off work a week soon , and winter is approaching, it is my favourite time of the year and I think the best for photography. I will be able to get more time to do photography. At the moment I work 13 days and then 1 day off - which recently has been spent doing overtime. 2 jobs. So not getting time recently to take any pictures.

I've never been interested in taking pictures myself, but I do enjoy seeing pictures from other photographers.

I used to be in high school and college, but not so much anymore. I'm more into painting, but even now I get blocks trying to figure out what to paint. xD

I am no pro but I love the hobby. Its all about the lens far more then the camera. You would have to try pretty damn hard to find a bad camera with todays makers.
