Have you ever thought about planking?



Personally I dont see the point of it but to each their own I suppose.

no way, its stupid and not funny.. it was not even funny when it first started going about. some dude died doing it on a balcony, yeah real cool just for a photo on facebook, lol.

I saw a girl doing that on a fire hydrant, admittedly that was pretty funny, but in general, it's a consistently moronic concept. There's a new thing going around called Owling where you have to climb a tree or area than sit like an owl. I don't see what the appeal is.

I saw an article about planking a while ago and I think it's

ridiculous what some people will do to get attention.



Of course, people have the right to do these things if

they want, but do they ever consider that if they injure

themselves, they are taking up the time of ambulance

and medical staff who could have been dealing with

more serious and genuine emergencies ?

If they weren't getting injured by planking, who's to say they wouldn't be getting injured by doing something else, and besides, it's not exactly that dangerous if anything it's for the lulz.

I'm not sure I'd say it's not dangerous. That article I read was about

someone who'd either died or was seriously injured.

If he was going to go that far for something so meaningless than it's safe to say that he would have died or have been seriously injured some other way. The activity consisting of lying face down in an unusual or incongruous location. It's not dangerous on paper, but stupid people will do stupid things regardless and make it dangerous. Than again, you'd have to be pretty stupid anyway to participate in it, but as said it's for the lulz and as a joke.

I was just reading an article about how during a riot that was happening in Los Angeles, numerous citizens were planking in the middle of the street, morons.

I found that article I mentioned earlier.



The guy was 20 yrs old. Tried planking on a balcony railing

7 floors up on a block of flats - and fell off !
