Is this the dumbest craze ever? These vertigo-inducing pictures were taken by a daredevil photographer who risks his life to scale public buildings in a bid to get incredible shots of people hanging in high up in the air.

Vadim Mahorov, from Novosibirsk, Russia, deliberately targets huge skyscrapers that he thinks will be difficult to get into - before scaling the object and dangling over the edge to get his danger-fuelled pictures.

Mr Mahorov, 22, said: 'I deliberately select objects to climb that are the tallest in the skyline.

Foolhardy: Skywakers from Russia who scale buildings around the country to get the ultimate picture.

After getting past security, they always target buildings that are the highest around and offer a challenge to get into.

Don't look down: In this image the skywalkers are suspended hundreds of feet above a forest.

Not for the feint-hearted: This thrill-seeker stands on top of a huge statue's head.
