What's the longest amount of time you'll wait 'on hold for the next available agent'?

Public services over here have a lot of that when you call for an out of service claim.

It depends on how much time I have. If I'm off work and I don't have anything else to do, I can wait a long time. But if it's a work day then I don't have time to wait that long. So it depends on what is going on at the present moment.

I sit on hold for 30 minutes to an hour before Fidelity lets me pay the Internet bill.

Depends on how important the call is. If it's important, I'll just wait until someone answers. If not so important, I'll hold 5 or 10 minutes and then hang up if no one answers.

Depends on the call and how high I needed it. If it takes all day then NOPE

Whelp, with my job until someone picks up, the longest time so far is 7 minutes.

For home, if its not within 20 mins I'll call back.

It also depends on whether or not I'm being charged for the privilege of holding..

If I'm being charged, probably no longer than 5-10 minutes. If it's free, then as long as it takes - I can be quite stubborn! ?

On the phone, not very long unless it's for something urgent. If they're going to put me on hold, I'd much rather just end the call and try again at a later time. For online live chat support, I would be willing to wait around 30 mins because I can just have the site open in the background.

It depends if there are a lot of clients on cue. I honestly do not like waiting for more than 10 minutes.

I have once hold for over 30 minutes just for the call to still cut without response from the agent

That depends on the importance of the call. I would probably wait for 30 minutes if I really want to talk to the agent.

That depends if the matter is important and I don't like to bother myself by calling again
