This Candy Man could be headed to the can.

Authorities in New Jersey busted a Brooklyn man Tuesday who was hauling 80 pounds of pot treats and a "shopping list" of other illegal substances, police say.

Samuel Bompane, 22, was arrested by state troopers after he was involved in an car accident and brief chase on the Garden State Parkway. Police say the suspect was "driving on the shoulder attempting to pass vehicles when he struck a car, causing it to overturn."

Bompane received medical attention for injuries sustained in the accident. Police say that he was under the influence of drugs during the accident.

According to the New Jersey State Police:

A search of Bompane’s vehicle uncovered a plethora of different drugs including more than 10 pounds of marijuana, 80 pounds of marijuana candy, hashish oil, prescription drugs, and a variety of drug paraphernalia including scales, currency counters, plastic bags, and smoking pipes. The drugs are valued at more than $100,000.
Bompane is charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated assault with a vehicle, possession with intent to distribute, and other charges.

Thoughts?

AND NOW, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, SAMMY DAVIS JR.

Mr. Bompane appears to be white. I thought the police only pull over, chase down, and attempt to kill black people who are breaking the law.

Mr. Bompane should demand justice from the cops who caused him to get hurt - and almost get himself killed - while fleeing the scene of a crime after refusing to get pulled over, only to have it be discovered he was in the middle of another crime. Hell, Mr. Bompane should schedule one or two riots over it.
