Police trainee lobs grenade at colleagues

A police trainee accidentally threw a live hand grenade into a cluster of her colleagues during a training drill in Brazil.

The dramatic incident was filmed during an exercise with the Police Pacification Unit in Rio De Janeiro ahead of the World Cup.

The female officer was trying to launch the grenade into an open field in front of her but inadvertently hurled it into a group of people who were watching from behind.
