Do you always buy popcorn when you go see a movie in the cinema?

Do you think movie theater popcorn is better than what you have at home?

I usually do, but it's so expensive now I don't think I would if I could afford to go.

Is it better than the popcorn at home? 100%! If you spend the money on a popper, kernels, oil and flavocol you can get close, but just microwave popcorn? Disgusting.

I would love to have a house, kitchen at least, big enough to accommodate a big movie-style popcorn machine.
But, meanwhile, I think my WhirleyPop does a really good job; and maybe I like it better knowing that it's cooked in olive oil.

(I use Flavacol, too :))

Oh absolutely, the small poppers work just as well and you can use the same ingredients!

I don't get popcorn every time but I do get popcorn pretty frequently. Its soooooooo good

Last time I bought a large one, couldn't finish it, gave it to my friends who couldn't finish it either but we didn't wanna give it to someone else. It was alright but honestly we would've been better off without it.

Recently I've been getting Pretzel Sticks instead.
So expensive but sooooooooo good. And so much better than popcorn. :P

I don't always, but my mom will when we go to the movies together. I don't mind popcorn. It's pretty much a staple. My favorite is the nachos, though.

Is that soft pretzels?

Last time I got a soft pretzel from the movies it tasted freezer burned. I'd rather go to the mall and get a good soft pretzel from Wetzels or Auntie Annes.

Gas station style. Those are good. The best is when they let you do the cheese yourself. :D

Yep!
At least here they have both full soft pretzels and the sticks. The pretzels (imo) just taste like a generic one you could buy a whole box of at the grocery store for the same price you're paying for one at the theater. The sticks on the other hand taste soooooo good. Even though they are expensive as hell. :lol2: I can't get enough of 'em.

How much are the pretzel sticks?

Yes and pretty much. Something about that movie theater popcorn taste I don't find at home.

My theater lets you put the butter on yourself. I've been tempted to bring an empty water bottle in, fill it with the movie theater butter and bring it home to dump on my own popcorn. :P

That's an awesome idea, gonna try it if I can.

The theater in my town makes you pay for butter.
