CHARLESTON, W.Va. - A bird's eye view of an American bald eagle family in Shepherdstown is again fascinating a loyal flock of followers.
A camera was set up in the tree in 2006 allowing anyone with a computer and internet access to observe the eagles. The EagleCam became so popular that the site's bandwidth became jammed. The EagleCam that originally streamed from the conservation center's government website was eventually turned over to the Outdoor Channel at no cost to taxpayers.
