Do you ever get posting fatigue? (get tired of posting)

What do you do when this happens? Do you keep posting even though you're not feeling it? Do you take a break and go do something else?

How can you help prevent your members from getting posting fatigue on your forum?

Not really.
I'll get into grooves where I don't feel like posting, but it's more related to me being depressed and not wanting to socialize and less about the act of actually posting.

Yeah, I think it would be fair enough to say that I get fatigue from posting. I was going to initially reply to this thread making the case that I didn't experience this. But when I reread what I had written, I had essentially just described exactly that, myself experiencing posting fatigue. When I was younger I used to post a lot more and was quite involved with political debates and extended discussions. It was quite helpful when it came to formulating and better understanding my views. At times this resulted in my views changing on issues which I had held quite strongly. But I just don't seem to have that energy anymore. I also have read a lot more on topics then so seem to have an issue of overthinking my posts way too much to the point of not actually replying. Or if I do, my posts don't clearly articulate the message I am trying to communicate.

Sometimes if I get posting fatigue, I'll take a step back from the community for a little bit and come back when I get more ideas for threads or posts. It's okay to get burned out from time to time, and it's okay to take a step back.

Sometimes I am not feelin' it so I'll just go watch TV or some other offline activity. Come back the next day and try again.

I am glad that I live with people who call me out for sitting on the computer too long. If they weren't here, I could be on the computer for 16 hours straight, which isn't healthy. I used to do that back in the day when I lived alone.

Not really, I just find a breaking point with other things that affects my posting levels at times.
Yay!
Penguin gets up, not sitting down while forcing her mouth open to force out words in her forum posts and winking at every member she comes across all day like I see her doing in the avatar
