Hey Nebulous, since you're a Cali native. You ever heard of this group?

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) is a professional wrestling promotion that is run by wrestlers themselves as it was created by Southern California wrestlers Disco Machine, Excalibur,Nebulousy Ryan, Scott Lost, Super Dragon, and Top Gun Talwar.[sup][1][/sup] Since then, Disco and Talwar have left the company.

The promotion debuted on July 26, 2003 and is known for its unique mixes of humor and professional wrestling, similar to the product of Chikara, only with far more explicit content, as well as their over the top press releases and show titles, which include: Kee_ The _ee Out Of Our _ool!, Taste the Radness, and Free Admission (Just Kidding).

Overall, the company's best selling DVD is PWG Sells Out, which was their first nationwide release.

Dang! I thought I was going to see a real Gorilla then I saw the spelling was a little off. Would have been more interesting to watch a real gorilla wrestle than the fake human crap!

You do realize not all Wrestling is fake correct? As there is obvious hours of training and the potential for real accidents for example?

I'm not a member of PETA! Would have been more interesting than those stupid staged and fake human wrestling matches!

How Much of This is Real?

The outcomes of the matches are pre-determined and most of the moves are planned out ahead of time. The referee is in the ring as a prop for the match. The referee also serves as a communicator between the wrestlers in the ring and the people running the show behind the scenes. He communicates to the wrestlers if the people in charge want them to deviate from the planned finish and informs the wrestlers when they need to end the match. 5: How do wrestlers bleed?

A: Despite what you might have heard, 95% percent of the time, a wrestler bleeds by blading himself, and not by using a blood capsule. Here's how it works: A wreslter rolls out of the ring and hides himself from the view of the audience. He then pulls out a small blade (usually concealed in a taped-up wrist or finger) and quickly cuts his forehead. Cutting anywhere else is very dangerous and is rarely ever attempted. However, cutting the forehead is somewhat dangerous, because you can hit a major artery if you cut too deep. New Jack learned this the hard way. The thirst for blood has let up lately, because of the fear of AIDS. Link: http://minornotes.com/MyWord_0049.html

Don't go down this path with him, I cited countless injuries but he remains completely oblivious to logic on this topic.

I was talking about Nebulous, this is one of the topics that I'm going out for blood for, because I'm sick and tired of seeing wrestlers break their necks and be filled with disrespect. I still remember whenever my older brother came back from wrestling school with a chest purpler than the Grimace, merely to tell me that they were practicing chops. In a manner of speaking, I'm tired of stupidity, honestly, I thought that after Chris Benoit's murdering of his child and wife, followed by his suicide, that people would understand the pain that goes into the craft but I was wrong.

Excuse me Nicholas, but I don't see where Nebulous posted in this thread.

Oh, that was YOU! Woops, I honestly could've sworn that was Nebulous, judging mostly by him calling wrestling fake in previous threads. I guess I'm sorry to him, it was an honest mistake, but moving on, I think you're misguided. You can jot down as many links to a website as you like but that doesn't mean anything. If you look anything up at all than look up the countless deaths that have occurred as well as the countless injuries. You calling it stupid is also disrespectful, what's so stupid about it? It's scripted, understandable, I'll happily nod to saying that it's predetermined, but it's also entertaining and takes massive amount of talent to compete a good match. It's not about two men hugging or pretending to fight one another, there's more to it such as having the athleticism, the ability to tell a story, and massive amount of pain that they're forced to go through. Oh, and who the hell cares if it's scripted? The best sources of entertainment in the world are scripted, it allows for the creativity to flow much better.

Having a right to an opinion doesn't make your/my opinion right. Is your opinion right? Is my opinion right? I'll leave it at a draw and have no further comments.

Not 100% of wrestling is staged, The moves they do are highly dangerous. For example TNA last PPV Jesse Sorensen was seriously injured when Zema Ion did a moonsault off the top turnbuckle, he botched the move mid air, brought his knees up and knocked Sorensen out cold. a C-1 vertebrae fracture with spinal cord edema. Docs estimate a year of recovery.

CZW is a crazy promotion. I used to watch CZW alot, have heard of PWG but not sure if i've watched any. If I have it would have been a few years back on The Wrestling Channel.

Rather something is staged or not, It's still a sport and there's that chance of being injured, just like how stuntmen has that chance of messing up and dying... Most wrestling is scripted and just for show action/entertainment with real danger of course...

That's all I've ever truly wanted for people to realize, I can settle for that.
