Making the State Water Rescue Team. Out of 10 men I was the only woman. First round of written tests, five men failed. Second test was the dive test. I was teased but I wanted to prove to myself and the remaining men that I deserved to be on the team. The proud moment happened when I received my State Water Rescue Team patch and certificate.
