I wonder if anyone here likes the mentioned music genre apart from myself and two other people I know. As the name suggests, it's a form of trance where it's characterised with hypnotic arrangements of synthetic rhythms and complex melodies created by high tempo riffs. Sort of like goa trance really. Suomisaundi is a genre related to psytrance only that it originates from Finland and more psychedelic. I don't like all pieces of music from the genre so I'll show the good stuff that are the following:
As you can see, Texas Faggott is one of my favourite psytrance bands. If you are also into this sort of music and would like to contribute with more of these tracks, then join in. I have to say that I got into psytrance back in early 2007, because of Back To Mad.

Not my favorite. Listened to a few. Would probably be a little better when it is blasting in my car stereo vs quiet on my laptop at 2 AM though.

Wow Braincell's cover art is amazing!

BUT that kind of music gives me a terrible headache.

I can understand some psytrance causes this but not all, like Rinkadink's Pirate Signal as that's a lighter form of psytrance (known as South African psytrance).

Haha. I was listening to Braincell - Shake the Universe, and at 3:18 there's Michio Kaku (well known theoretical physicist, often interviewed and makes documentary appearances) speaking about M-theory. It echoes what he wrote in his book Hyperspace (which is an amazing book). Anyway, I enjoy trance and haven't really listened to psytrance before, so thanks for sharing! I am amused.

Good to see one person here likes the genre so far

Anyway, I'd like to share another piece of this music... Digital Talk - New Age Surf. This one's pretty cool and is amongst the best I've heard of that genre.
