What made you make that decision of not dating and/or having a relationship?

(NOTE: Neosingle = no intentions of dating, especially for an indefinite period)

My crappy health, that takes priority.

Long story short. It all started with the premonition which came true in June 2013. Then I lost every contact with some person three months later.
Then during the entire 2014, I was a complete outsider. Failed FOUR courses in both semesters (1 and 3 courses respectively). And lost the only 'peaceful' classmate I had last semester.
All that led me to the decision of not dating anyone - anymore - which took effect in February.

The simple fact I enjoy being single & alone. It just works best for me. Plus, I find the whole dating "rituals" to be unnecessarily complicated and filled too many "what ifs", if you know what I mean.

I don't know if I'd consider myself a neo-single, but I think I'm done asking women out. I've been dumped on quite a few times and I'm pretty good at making things awkward between me and the girl I want to date. I probably have made all the girls I've asked out uncomfortable. I'd like to find a SO one day, but I try not to have high hopes in finding one. Call me insecure, I guess, but relationships have always been a never-ending debate in my head about whether they are for me or not and the full purpose behind them.

Unfortunately its very rare for a woman to ask a guy out. You gotta put yourself out there. One of them will say yes eventually.

Indeed, women get a lot more attention in the dating field than men do.

I just bring myself down when I get rejected and it turns into a battle of depression, and like I said, sometimes I think I make women feel uncomfortable, so sometimes I wonder what the point is.

As much as I'd like to experience that one day, I don't see it as a valid reason for getting into a relationship.
Well you can get laid without getting into a relationship.
