Even if you don't believe any race in particular is a threat. What you said is that you endorse is suspicion based on racial profiling, and therefore racism.

Can truly blame the media for that, as always media spreads a lot of propaganda and this has made some people a bit racist. Anyway, yes I agree it is wrong but I don't think anything will change it, I mean naturally a country will be easier on someone from a country with whom their allies than one they have a war in.

Look at the people that hijacked the planes on Sept 11. They were all of Arab extraction. Therefore, the airports may be(I don't know that they are) giving more attention to those of Middle Eastern Extraction. If 11 or 12 or however many terrorists there were, if they were all holding Saudi/Egyptian/Kuwaiti (and again I don't know for sure) passports, I would imagine that people with these passports are being scrutinized more closely.

Personally, I agree racial profiling is retarded. Like I said, I was just taking the viewpoint that it was OK. I think everyone should be scrutinized. And I agree with Nebulous--the airlines have a duty to provide you with as safe a ride as they can--whatever it takes.....

Yes, the airline has the duty of care to provide as safe a trip as they can forsee, but suspecting people due to their background is not going to get anyone any closer to that.
