Random Pop Ups Virus

I need to fix this soon before I throw my computer out the window!

Find some reliable anti-virus software and scan your computer. A reliable anti-virus software should pick it up.

Yep--get something like Spybot or similar that is free to download. Unless you already have something installed.

There is also a free version of AVG.

I have all that installed.. Spybot said it found some stuff and removed it but its still happening.

Then it is missing something. Try the free version of AVG. It might get it.

I must say that AVG has improved since I last used it... Its found more stuff than Avast ever found.

The free version of AVG is really good.. If you have the cash, I'd recommend Kaspersky. It works phenomenal.

I had a friend about 6-8 years ago that had this issue with his old lap top. He didn't have any anti virus or fire wall and he looked at porn and went to torrents to download free music. So I imagine thats how he downloaded a virus to cause his computer to get really bad pop ups. Lime wire was horrible as far as malware and hackers.
