Rapper who ridiculed rival’s shooting abilities is shot dead

A rapper who ridiculed a rival gang telling them ‘you don’t even know how to shoot’ in one of his raps has been shot dead.

Young Pappy, whose real name was Shaquon Thomas, was shot twice in the back not far from where he recorded the song.

While Thomas, 20, was a member of the Gangster Disciples gang, another two innocent bystanders were allso shot dead in the incident in Chicago.

It was the third time someone had tried to kill him, according to the Chicago Tribune, although police say it is possible more attempts were made on his life.

In the video he posted in April this year, he said: ‘Gotta a whole lotta shooters on the squad, gotta squad for the shooters. … If I catch an op [opposition], I’m smokin’ them.’

The Community isn't protesting and burning down clubs and bars that play that sort of music at seismic disturbance levels.
