The case of one of four teens who were cited after rapping their order at a McDonald's in Utah appears headed for trial.

Police in American Fork, about 30 miles south of Salt Lake City, cited the teens for disorderly conduct last month after the drive-through rap.

The teen's attorney, Ann Boyle, said the whole incident has been overblown.

I just believe that the kids had a right to sing their order, Boyle said. They asked them to leave, and they left.

But attorney Kasey Wright, who represented American Fork in court Wednesday, said the case isn't about free speech.

This is not a First Amendment case, he said. This is disturbing the peace. It's interrupting a business.

Lawl, I read about this a week ago. I don't see why the police are making such a big deal of it.. There are real criminals out there, and they're wasting their time on these men. Fools.

How sad...

So apparently that's jail time?

Its stupid. If I worked at that mc donalds, I would have got a kick out of it and hooked them up with a free order of fries.

Now the person you fuck around with, what can i say.

@ i agree with skillet on his first post. I read the whole thing and they are not going to jail, just pleading not guilty to a fine. Just like trying to fight a speed ticket in court.

Dumbest thing ever. Why would you ever take someone to court for Interrupting Business?

Yes, and a complete waste of time.

They should not make such a big deal about it so what if a few people were rapping they were just trying to have fun, I have also seen commercials where people are singing there order, or about there food.

If your unfortunate enough to have to work at MacDonalds, wouldn't that brighten up your day?

My friends cousin is a manager of a Mc Donalds and makes like $30 an hour and has a nice house/car.
