Reading Emotions

Can you read another person's emotions?

Can you easily tell how other people are feeling?

How useful is this ability?

I used to be totally unable to read emotions, couldn't tell what they were feeling, but I've gotten better about that in recent years

Hmm idk how you'd go about doing that other than their expression or differences in behavior/conversation that particular day. I'm really good at lying, but I'm not adept at detecting them.

Depends on the person. People I've known for years, yes. People I just met, who knows.
