I saw this thread and thought about it.

I do not not remember buying any clothing for myself in at least the last two years.

I bought my wife a new sweatsuit a couple of weeks ago because she liked it and it was on clearance. They didn't have anything in my size that I would wear, so I passed on that.

The last thing I know for sure that I bought for myself was a Tshirt to sleep in when we were on a trip to Mississippi, but that's been three or four years.

I was forced into getting a suit jacket for my daughter's wedding last year, but that was neither my idea nor did it come DIRECTLY out of my checking account, so I'm not counting it. And I haven't worn it since.

Yeah, I know, I have a pair of shoes that are old enough to drive that the soles are falling off of, and I need to go shoe shopping... but, you know.....

I once bought a bikini that was a wee bit too small. The top wasn't so bad but the bottom gave me a wedgie every time I walked. Might as well have been wearing a thong.

Last night I got some new shorts; one pair jean / carpenter shorts, one pair plaid shorts and one pair of cargo shorts. I also got 7 new pairs of underwear and 5 t-shirts.

I'm currently on a major diet regime & as a result I've recently had to buy some new jeans & belts, as all the others were getting ridiculously large.

However, after only having them for a matter of a few weeks it's getting to be the same thing happening all over again, where as soon as I remove the belt they just fall down of their own accord, without having to unfasten them.
