Reddit Secret Santa

Is anyone else taking part in the Reddit Secret Santa? For those of you who don't know about it, you basically get matched with a random person who provides some info and you buy them a gift. And then someone else who matched you, reads your info, and buys you something.

It's quite a cool little thing. This is what I got from my secret Santa last year.

I've thought about participating in Reddit's secret Santa, but my social anxiety always tends to get in the way. :S I've never actually shipped items before and I'm always afraid of the costs for shipping and just generally speaking to the post office clerk freaks me out. :V I also feel that I would want to get a PO Box for these things since you can't always trust people on the internet.

I always just get the retailer to ship it directly to them because I don't want to deal with the shipping side of it. Plus it allows me to save some money and spend a bit more on the actual present.

Bill Gates is the best Santa to get. A few different companies do it as well who are quite nice to match with. Lego is the only one I know of though

Participating in something where they have so many members to compete? nope, I don't really do anything much on reddit. It's not like the prizes are big.

It's not a competition. Secret Santa is where you get matched with someone and you buy them a present. They don't know who you are. And then obviously, someone else buys you a present.

I remember reading about it from a previous year.. Probably at one of your previous sites, @Ash ?

I forgot all about it this year, primarily because I don't use Reddit so it didn't even register in my train of thought.. It'd be kinda cool to do it just once though.

Got some pretty cool things this year. A Chelsea FC 2020 annual, some Chelsea themed air fresheners (because I mentioned that I would have passed my test by then), and a box of Reese's chocolate.
