Corporations are now using the “labor shortage” as an excuse to bring back child labor. It’s part of a horrifying trend: Since 2015, child labor violations have risen nearly 300%.
 
I feel that kids should be kids but a having some sort of job or responsibilities for a couple hours each day is good for them. As long as what they are doing is safe and it doesn't consume their entire life. Kids need time to be kids and have a childhood too.

Agreed, in the UK we have laws as to the maximum number of hours kids are allowed to work and minimum wage laws. Is that the case in the US?

Regardless, forced labor is essentially slavery and I reckon there’s just not enough enforcement.
