I'm finding myself wishing more and more that I never got with my last ex wife. We just had issues from day one. I stayed with her because I really wanted things to work and because I was afraid of being alone. But I don't feel that way anymore. I'm finding that it's not good to live vicariously through the women I get with.
It's so common to read now that people get married more than 2 times, when i was a kid i thought that only celebrities get married more than once!I've had a few here and there; however, my first marriage lasted 15 years, and my current is 20. I'm doing okay.![]()

My grandmother sat down with me and told me that I needed to work on staying single. That my relationships with women have brought me nothing but bad results. I plan on being single for a long time. It's hard some days, but I'm getting better.Learn to like being with yourself before getting into a new relationship?
You will know once you find the right one; it's great.I needed to work on staying single

That's rare to have these days. A lot of the younger generation treats marriage like it's nothing. They don't even want to work at it when times get hard.My husband and I have been together for 34 years in marriage and dated for 6 years prior to getting married. It's hard to make it work at times, but we stuck it out and things are so much better.
