Hi Friend,

I do not vote Atheist, though I respect every religion but cast no vote for Atheist.

The atheists stance on issues important to me would have a greater effect on whether I would vote for them or not. Their religious beliefs don't matter as much to me as, say, their stance on the illegals invasion, guns, abortion and things like that.

Well said and I agree with you.

It doesn't matter to me if a person's Atheist or a Christian.....It's how they perceive themselves to be.....If I like what I'm hearing, and like what I'm seeing, in how she/he acts, I'll vote for him/her......

If they show respect in what they do, in how they treat others, that goes a long way in my books.....Respect, kindness, and consideration......If they have all that, they've got my vote....

Yes, I would most definitely vote for an atheist. Hell, I'd vote for a Catholic, a Christian, a Buddhist or a Satanist as long as they both appealed to me on their stance AND showed evidence of their ability to make the kinds of changes I think need to happen. Religion doesn't matter to me as long as they get shit done.

I probably have as most candidates often do not state their religion, or lack thereof, during the campaign.

How about a different question.

Would you vote for a convicted felon?

No I wouldn't, how could I trust someone to be in a position of trust and authority when he/she has broken the laws which they need to represent.

Depends on the felony. Some laws are unjust themselves. :fighting:
