It was a couple of hours into the long-haul flight from Hong Kong to Vancouver when Air Canada staff realized they'd been scammed. The attendants had seen an elderly white passenger hobble his way down the aisle to the bathroom, but the person who emerged moments later wasn't wrinkled, stooped or bald. He was young, fresh-faced and Asian.

Details of that unbelievable case of concealment are contained in a confidential intelligence report from the Canada Border Services Agency, CNN reported Thursday. According to the document, the young man was taken into custody by security staff upon arrival in Canada on Oct. 29 and was found to be carrying a disguise kit that included a silicone mask, brown cardigan, flat cap and a pair of ill-fitting spectacles.

He readily admitted the ruse to Canadian security staff, the memo states, and even willingly donned the 'disguise' for [border officers], and they noted that he very much resembled an elderly Caucasian man, complete with mimicking the movements of an elderly person.

The young pretender -- who applied for refugee status on arrival -- was reportedly helped onto the plane by a 55-year-old American citizen, who had swapped boarding passes with the Asian man in Hong Kong.

This is kinda awesome and dangerous at the same time. Shows one more flaw in the airport security. Not that security guards would go and tug on people's faces to see if it's fake...

Don't understand why he would go through all this trouble and not leave the disguise on until after the plane landed in Canada.

He deserves to get away with it for his genius.

Got to wonder why he went through the trouble to begin with?

Ha ha awesome, I can't believe they didn't sus him, the mask could not have been that good could it? It does seem strange that he took it off, maybe he was getting sweaty, XD.
