So the other day I decided to purchase a reproduction copy of Pokemon Emerald from Amazon. I've always wanted to own a copy of the game and a legit copy can go for close to $100 these days. I own a reproduction cartridge of Crystal and Green version already. However, I'm hoping my Emerald cart doesn't end up like the Crystal or Green carts. Crystal version didn't hold a save (yet it doesn't have a quartz in it so it can't keep track of real time like a real copy could) and Green version's save got corrupted somehow. Needless to say, reproduction carts are usually made with cheap boards and chips so they're not really reliable. I mainly purchased the copies of Green and Crystal for the lolz so to speak, I own real copies of both games. Have you ever purchased a repro cart of any game?

Never got those but the do sound like a good idea. If its the same exact game, who cares if its on a reproduced cartridge?
