Rescued 'puppy' actually not a puppy at all

Because the rescued animal has been imprinted with humans, it will likely live in captivity. In this case, conservation officials believe that the animal was truly abandoned and its mother was probably hit by a car.

Even though the animal will likely live in captivity, I'm happy these people rescued the 'puppy'. If they hadn't found it, the poor little thing would not have survived on its own. By the way, I would have thought it was a "puppy' too.
