What are some of the older games you like to play or game systems you like to play on? What makes them your favorite? Oh, and how do you feel about the new mini-retro game systems that have come out with some of your favorites?

I like to play the GameCube games (I use an emulator for this), they're still lots of fun to play and bring back good memories :)

I have a genuine black game cube and use it to play Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness. I also play games like Urbz The Sims In The City on my DS XL With the switch out now I think of the DS consoles as retro because games aren't made for them anymore. I have some Pokemon Games I play on my DS too.

The Pokemon games are always fun. My favorite one of the game cube is Pokemon Shadow XD Gales of Darkness. I hear that after a while the laser reader on the GameCube breaks and has to be replaced. To make matters worse the parts are more and more scarce as the console gets older. As a result I choose to just emulate the games rather than buy a new console. I do have a USB GameCube look-alike controller so it feels real.

Your topic is bringing back the good old days of Gaming. Pacman and Tetris are just a handful of Retro Games that I myself, enjoy playing to this very day. As for the operating system, I mainly play old flash through my Laptop's browser as I don't own any other Retro Consoles, anymore.

We have a ton of retro game consoles in my house now that I'm thinking about it. Xbox Classic, PS1 and 2, an originaly Wii console, My Nintendo DS, all on top of the Game Cube I mentioned. We game a lot in my house, that's not even counting the latest consoles. We have that old computer game "Where in the world is Carmen San Deigo?" I believe it was called. I haven't beaten it yet, so no spoilers!

I still play Majora's Mask occasionally on the N64. Some of the best retro games for me include Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, Skies of Arcadia, Metal Gear 1, Lylat Wars and Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon. There are so many!

I love playing all the classic Sonic games on my Genesis! I have quite a few retro consoles, my oldest being a Model 1 Sega Genesis. (I do own a NES but it's a top loader and that model came out in 1993.) I prefer retro games to modern games tbh. I should get around to listing all my consoles soon. :P

Go watch RetroRick on YouTube. He builds a game collection from $10. Hit up garage sales and thrift shops for cheap games. Flip em on eBay to build up a fund ($200-$300) to buy more and start to look for lots from OfferUp and Facebook Marketplace. Rinse and repeat, keep what you want and sell the rest to keep your fund healthy. Over time you can build a massive collection and not break the bank.

This is rather a russian roulette, you'll never know how many games you can get in a good condition. You can do all the maintenance in the world but if the previous owner didn't take care of the games you can't do anything. I bought a lot of gameboy color games last year and half of them couldn't turn on anymore. HALF of them..
