Revamps

How often do you think you should revamp your forum?

I actually just did a minor revamp not too long ago. Just expanded the forums a little bit, added new sections and what-not. I wouldn't do every tiny thing upon request, but I think whenever an administrator feels it needs to be done would be necessary. But that doesn't mean that one should do something every week, either.

Lol boards on the ZB/IF network revamp every two days it seems like.

Seems some people think that skins and outer appearance are the only thing that drives / stimulates activity/interest.

lol I know what you mean. I am not your typical IF/ZB board owner so I know enough not to do such silly things. XD

Ive gone a year without revamping before on previous forums.

Activity was always good.

If by revamping you mean changing skins and stuff... Then don't. Get a solid skin image for your forum and stick with it, for heavens sakes.

Revamping could mean different things..

New skin, new logo, differently ordered forums, new forums, all of the above, etc..



Usually it means just changing the skin.

i don't revamp alot. but i am currently revamping my forums. the last time was like 3 years ago.
