The average cable TV package price is something in the range of $2 a DAY.

What show currently running is worth that when you work for a living?

People work for a living so they can have nice things in life, like cable TV (for example). :P

Any Apple product bought new or even used for that matter. And cell phones in general. The hardware is ridiculously expensive and a joke.

I agree, that's why I've never owned any mac products (excpet that iMac computer I got for free a few years back). Cheap Windows and Android's all the way! :P

I just don't like the Apple OS anyway. It's not for me, but the price point hammers the last nail into the coffin for me when making that decision.

I don't really like it either, but I never really put the time in to fully learn and understand it. :|

And the price of good, top shelf booze is just out of hand and high quality cigars are out of range as well.

Of course, those two items have nothing to do with the cheap swill and smoldering flotsam I buy, but still.

This. Also add the fact Apple didn't add the freakin' IP58 certification to their new iPhone. The good things Samsung DID add to their flagships, aren't on iPhones until two years later.

One prime example is the 802.11ac WLAN. Samsung started to use that tech last year. Then other brands followed that trend. But did Apple add it last year? No. They waited until THIS year to implement it.

Now the interface. Not really friendly and what Apple did was just add some new features but aesthetically it's THE SAME as last year's iOS version. Also that it runs very slow on Apple A5-powered devices like the 4S and iPad 2.

With this said, I only hope there will be devices with Lollipop out of the box. The first 64-bit Android devices are going to be released in a few weeks and to be honest, I like Material Design more than Holo. Seriously.

I love my Macbook pro. And even though I agree mac products are expensive macbookpros are totally worth it.
I use my mac all the time.

My "new" phone is now two years old.

And it was an all but obsolete model when I bought it on sale.

And it Never Was one of the "OMG! I've GOT to HAVE THAT" models even when it was new to the market.

I do NOT have a contract, it is a 'pay as you go', that way I don't get an 'end of month' surprise, or end up cut off when I need it.

Bottled water and non-beer drinks at bars.

Mechanics

My best friend took her car to the first mechanic she found and he charged her out the ass. Gotta be picky :P
