Do your parents have the right to search your room?

I should think so, I don't own this place after all...

Perhaps as a kid.

I am 22 years old now and my mum still searches my room when I am at work. :/

Since it's her home, do you think she has a right to do that?

I don't have a say in it.

Do you think your parent(s) have the right to search your room even though you have no say in it?

Still is her house, right? Do you rent that space?

It's half of her house, But she only stays here 2 days a week.

I pay £50 a week

Since you are paying money to stay there, I think a room search is an invasion of your privacy. I'd put a lock on my door if I were you

That's their decision. Go ahead and search it, I could care less as long as you don't mess anything up and you put it back the way it was. Won't find anything, just wasting your time.

Sure.. But the mom should use the excuse that she was cleaning in there.

lol So if I come home one day and my mom is cleaning my room, I'll know what she's really doing.

They have the right, but I think parents who do are overprotective, unless there's a serious issue at hand.

I don't think it's right.

It's none of their business, I'm not hiding anything...
