Alone all the way. I had a roommate in college and it was horrid. She came from Colorado and explained to me that she had a boyfriend, but the very first night we were there in our dorm, she brought in a guy and was making out with him. She brought in a lot of other people as well, party people with beer and stuff and I'm not a drinker (I don't drink at all). That lasted about a week before I got my own dorm room and I've never looked back since.

I'd rather live alone than have some jack ass fucking around with my stuff.

Alone, alone and alone. Solitude works best for me. Always had and I believe it always will.

Btw; a bit too late for this, but here it is anyway:

I'd rather have a roommate than live alone since I get lonely pretty easily.

Having a roommate doesn't necessarily provide you with ANY social interaction. I had roommates in the past who I hardly ever seen. We had opposite schedules and when we were both at home we were in our own rooms. If we ran into each other in the hall we just walked by each other without even acknowledging each other.

Me and my last roommate talked regularly and watched TV and played video games with each other, so it just all depends on who your roommate is and how close you are to them in terms of friendship.

I have room'ed with friends in the past but I've also room'ed with people who show zero interest in having a friendship. You can't really expect a roommate to be your friend or anything beyond someone who pays half the bills. Its a business transaction really.

It depends on the person that would be my roommate. If the roommate I'm going to have is going to be rambunctious or they are going to be someone that will steal my stuff all the time, then I'd probably rather be alone. But if the roommate I'm going to have is going to be easy to get alone with, then my choice might be different.

I love you too, Smiley.
