Except for the odd high mileage problems.... I'm having as good a time as ever, now.
It would seem that I am at the point in my life where I honestly don't care what other people think of me, I do not have to try to impress anybody, there's nothing new I want or need to do, and other than family, there are very few people who can require me to do anything for them. And in three months, I take my twenty five years of service at my job and walk away.
So I'm good with how and what I am right now.

I agree with about 25 years old. An excellent time.
In your twenties older people see you as still a kid, and 'the kids' think of you as an old fart pretending to be one of them.
I'd prefer not to go through that again, let alone, for ever.
