Same interests/hobbies

How hard would it be to find someone with the same interests/hobbies as you?

It's almost hard. Only like three or four, all being men, like to talk about new technology and randomness. Yep those are MY interests too.

Seems really hard since most of my interests involve staring at computer/iPhone screens all day long. Besides, I don't talk to enough people to try and find similar interests. I let people talk to me and I listen, but I rarely open up to people I don't know well.

Next to impossible. Most of my countrymen's idea of a good time is watching soccer, getting drunk and getting into a brawl with each other and the police. Even my coworkers who do the same job as me have completely different interests, I have pretty much nothing in common with them, aside from the fact we're all humans who inhabit the same planet.

My hobby is model railways. There's plenty of magazines, websites and stuff on youtube. There's a model shop in my nearest town. There is a model club in the area that I've been to a few times but I've not become a member as it's still a bit of a distance from me.
Hey! plus my next door neighbour is into model railways and it's not unknown for us to spend most of the afternoon chatting about stuff over the fence !
