It's a bit of a difficult decision since it's important to save for the future. But I guess COVID made everyone realise that we really can just die at any time without even getting into dangerous situations. So, do you save a lot or do you prefer to spend and enjoy life right now?

Many realize before covid, specially those who drop over dead from a heart attack :(

Even though I could drop dead tomorrow or even before I finish writing this sentence, I still save my money.

I only buy things that I need or that are on a huge discount sale. I prefer to save my money than spend it.

I'm thinking about my retirement as well.. i'm starting to save money too! I really try the best i can. I love to spend too but what i want costs a lot of money..

We don't splurge all that often but we are different as we are older & have no debts at all. So we are able to save more than others can, just like we can treat ourselves at times too. Though a day lounging at home is our idea of a treat lol

I'm always doing both, you are always trying to save and have your account bigger, but at the same time, you know that you are always spending on bills and whatnot. If something goes wrong then have no option to spend to repaire.

I like the option on amazon when buying things that you can pay at a five monthly payment, meaning if you have £100 each month and only need to spend £16 for that item then you not losing any money.

I do both. It's hard to save because you need the money for bills and the usual necessities. It is what it is.

I cannot say how I am going to manage between these two entities. I am still struggling to catch up in my savings and trying to do cost cutting at the same time.
