Premiering on: October 27, 2023

Just in time for Halloween, we’re getting another Saw movie. Kevin Greutert, who directed 2009’s Saw VI and 2010’s Saw 3D, is returning to helm this tenth installment in the franchise, and though we don’t really know anything about the story, we do know that Tobin Bell’s Jigsaw will appear in the film. If you’ve been following the lore of the series thus far, that should be an interesting development.

Thoughts?

I can't wait even though years ago they said no more to this franchise.

I liked the original movies but I'm burned out and haven't bothered watching the new ones.

I'll be there to see it, I love this franchise. Even Jigsaw & Spiral.
There's rumors that Costas Mandylor may return as Hoffman and he was always my favorite character.

Poor Tobin Bell can never escape this franchise though!
He died in Saw 3 but they keep shoehorning him in, I remember one they had a single flashback of him grocery shopping.

So I recently found out that this movie is actually taking place between SAW & SAW II.
Finally they're just admitting they made a mistake killing Jigsaw so early and going back in time instead of forced flashbacks.

It sounds really interesting too:
Hoping for a miraculous cure, John Kramer travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure, only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable. Armed with a newfound purpose, the infamous serial killer uses deranged and ingenious traps to turn the tables on the con artists.

Are you going to see this?

I've been rewatching all of the others in preparation, this series is so good. Hoffman is my favorite character.

I've watched 6 so 4 more to go.

Going to see it in about an hour.

Pretty good! Lots of twists and turns and you think one thing is going to happen and then something else happens. :p

Me and my wife wan to go see it. She's a big fan of this film franchise.

This movie was amazing, honestly probably my favorite sequel of the series.
Such a smart choice to finally focus on John Kramer as the main character of the movie and feels like a love letter to the series, especially after the last two films directly tried to move in a new direction.

Even a little cameo from my favorite character at the end. :D

I hope they make another one like it. 3 movies of Amanda and John Kramer being alive was not enough. I felt like they killed them off a tad bit too soon despite the flash backs in the following sequels.

Going to see this one again in a few. :D
