Say something or not?

I was taking an exam last night. I noticed the guy sitting next to me take a folded piece of paper out of his pocket. He then placed the folded paper under the exam sheet. I kept seeing him slide the paper out and then answering the questions on the exam sheet. The instructor was sitting at his desk engrossed in reading something. We had 30 minutes to complete the exam. If you finished early, you could hand in your exam and leave. I happened to get done early and handed my exam to the instructor.



My question to all of you is would you say something to the instructor or not?



I'll tell you what I did after I get a few responses.

That would depend on the type of test I think.

I don't particularly mind if someone cheats. As Smooth said, it'll come back and bite 'em in the ass (and if it doesn't, they did a good job anyway). However, if it's going to come back and haunt me (think driver's test), I'll rat.

Find out who the proctor's boss is and let them know that they were allowing open cheating during the exam.
