Should kids (before the university / college level) be allowed to chose whether to attend school or not?

No. The entire point of going to school is to get an education, and with the education they can get themselves a job. School is boring, and if we were allowed to choose whether or not to go, we wouldn't, as young people are unable to see the consequences of their actions.

I agree. Most kids are too irresponsible to have those sorts of decisions left up to them.

Well yea, I thought about that after I posted

People are stupid enough as it is.

As for people who are in college...

Kids who are going through college with their parents paying for everything are more likely to skip out on school and go party. They are still in their immature mindset. My cousin is doing this right now and my uncle is about to beat the living daylights out of him.

People who have to work a job to pay for college are more likely to go everyday. They cant afford to not pass a class they are paying for.
