For a number of people, school has already started. For others, it will begin sometime before the end of the month. What have you or your family have done, to prepare for the start of school, if you or someone in your family are going to be in school for the upcoming school year?

For the kid in the house, we have been working on getting all the needed supplies for the start of school. Mainly stuff like supplies for continuing Art Classes.

I no longer have to go to school, but my job helps college students going to school, so right now my work place is quickly breaking down into a dumpster fire.

Slightly different but it will be Uni for me in September. Because of COVID, everything has been a bit slow and messy really. Unfortunately, we're still not 100% sure whether it will be online again or on campus. I don't really need to get anything for it though, since I already have everything I need.

I don't have anybody in the house going back to school.

The only thing I've been doing is keeping an eye out for the school buses. In my state, you have to stop for the school buses, both coming and going, if they are stopped and their little stop sign is out. That means they are dropping off children or picking them up. You have to watch out for the children, even if it's not your kids on that bus.

Gaaaah! My job sucks, so many people with issues because they can't read access instructions for their school stuff.

I've changed job over the summer, from working as an IT Technician for a secondary school to working as an IT Technician for x3 primary schools.. It could be an interesting term! There's not a whole lot I've been able to do to prepare though, especially as I had a week of annual leave thrown in for good measure.

I think it is widely expected that COVID figures will soar once again.. It'll be interesting to see what decisions our various governments make in response. I can't see them locking the UK down again, but you never know..

My kids are back in school. I got all of their supplies for them. They were ready to go back. They got pretty bored over the summer break and ran out of things to do.
